School History

Two primary schools (Morphett Vale West and John Morphett) and a preschool (John Morphett) came together to form Morphett Vale B-6 School. The school began operations across sites in 2011 and then moved to the newly developed 21st century, purpose-built schooling facility on the former Morphett Vale High School site in 2012. Morphett Vale Primary School includes an Occasional Care, Preschool, OSHC Services, Regional Special Classes and currently 7 mainstream Reception to Year 6 classes.

The Smith Family has an office co-located on the school grounds with which the school has a very strong partnership. The organisation also services several neighbouring schools from this central base. The Smith Family offers a broad range of services to students enrolled at Morphett Vale B-6 School.
